Performance Modifications

This truck was originally supposed to just be daily transportation split with the GTO and give me a way to get out in the desert to go camping and ride quads into the mountains. Well it was just a little too slow so I decided to do a few small things like a cold air intake and full exhaust. Anybody who knows me knows that those few small little mods wouldn't satisfy me so it was time to do a little bit more. I found an LQ9 in the junk yard out of a Cadillac Escalade and swapped it in place of the original 5.3L motor and literally broke even by selling the 5.3 and all of the accessories that came with the motor. A small cam from Vinci called the "trucker cam" made it's way into the motor as I was swapping the motor and the truck laid down 390 rwhp and 390 ft/lbs of torque. Then I got a screaming deal on a turbo kit by KB Racing and now it has a T76 on it running a mild 6 psi to give the motor a long life. Yes I know I do have a problem with leaving things alone and I recognized that. LOL! Next up, a 4l80 before I grenade the stock 4l60 hopefully. :)
